UNO Night

Sunday, May 19, 7:00 p.m. in Parish Hall

Pastor Dave Andrus, in charge of Braille Ministries for the LCMS, is coming to town to preach at Peace on Sunday morning (5/19). He will then spend some time that evening for a UNO game. The cards are a standard deck of UNO cards, with the addition of Braille in the corner. Come play, learn a bit of Braille with a blindfold and get to know more about the blind ministry at Peace Lutheran Church. Call the church office for more details 805-489-2708.

Peace is what we offer -- peace with God and peace with self and others. Such a thing as peace is a miracle, something only God can create and maintain. Thankfully, the real God is the God of peace, not a god of chaos. In the Person of His Son,�the Prince of Peace, He establishes peace through forgiveness and new life. As His Holy Spirit works through such things as His Word and Sacraments, He brings personal peace to the soul. It's a peace that can only be shared. And so Peace Lutheran Church exists to share this great peace God gives. For at Peace Lutheran Church, peace is not just a concept. It is our faith in God!
