Braille Ministry

When Jesus healed the blind man in Luke 18, He told the man, "Receive your sight; your faith has healed you." Luke adds that "immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus, praising God" (18:43). What mattered that afternoon was not so much that the man could see physically, but that he could see spiritually. In faith, he received Jesus as his Savior, began to follow Him, and found himself praising God as a result.

Peace Lutheran Church's Braille ministry is all about the miracle of seeing Jesus. Such a miracle happens when God's Word enters a person's heart and that person receives Jesus as Savior and Lord. Members of Peace work to produce Braille materials for those who would otherwise be unable to read Jesus' words. These materials are sent all over the world enabling and empowering many to discover and grow in Christ by seeing Him in His Word.

The Braille ministry at Peace takes place on Mondays, 9:00 a.m., and on Tuesdays, 8:30 a.m., in one of the upper level classrooms of Peace Lutheran Church.
