Fearfully Equipped
"And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again" 2 Corinthians 5:15
Does God need humans to do anything for Him? Obviously not. He is self-sufficient and can accomplish anything He wills, with or without human endeavor.
But God does equip His people to do great things for Him. Why? Because in His perfect love for us, He knows we need to serve Him. Nothing is more satisfying than doing something of eternal value and worth for God. It is with this in mind, that God equips us with the pallette of tools we need to serve Him with joy and effectiveness. Because of this fearful and wondrous equipping, the works of God’s people, in the words of Scripture, "do follow them" – into heaven itself – as part of a celebration that never ends.
